As a customer, you get support that helps you make informed choices. As an electricity producer, you are invited to partake in annual producer meetings where we explain market trends and how they affect you and your production.
Bixia was founded in 1997 and has had balance responsibility towards Svenska kraftnät since 1999. Today we are holding a strong position as analysts, advisers and electricity market experts.
We also take financial responsibility for all purchases on the Nordic power exchange, Nord Pool. The electricity you buy from us is managed by only us, without intermediaries. That gives you a secure and reliable electricity contract.
As a Bixia customer, you can be sure to always get 100% renewable electricity at no extra cost. All our electricity comes from renewable sources such as solar, wind, hydro and biomass.
We are also invested in increasing the total amount of renewable electricity in Sweden. As one of the country’s largest buyers of renewable and locally produced electricity, we support producers who want to expand their production – so that renewable electricity can be available to more people.

In Sweden, you need two agreements for your electricity – one with your grid operator (elnätsföretag) and one with an electricity supplier (elhandelsföretag), like Bixia. Your grid operator owns the local electricity grid and we supply the electricity you use.
Getting electricity delivered to your home is a two-step process: you first have to register with your grid operator and then contact us. You can't choose your grid operator, but you can choose your electricity supplier.
If you do not make an active choice, you may get a default contract, which is often more expensive.
It is easy to sign up for and switch electricity supply contracts. Switching from another electricity supplier (eleverantör) to Bixia is free of charge. Contact our
customer service and we will be happy to help you.

you can do so by logging in to My Bixia via our website or app or calling our customer service at 0771-60 30 30.
